ISLAMABAD (PEN) : In the first eight months of the financial year 2023-24, Pakistan’s exports to its regional neighbors, including Afghanistan, China, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, India, Nepal, and the Maldives, increased by 20.57%, totaling $2,912.102 million, which constitutes 14.17% of Pakistan’s total exports of $20,537.900 million during July-February 2023-24. China leads in imports from Pakistan among these countries, with a 42.02% increase to $1,895.720 million. Export trends to other countries varied, with declines in exports to Afghanistan and Bangladesh but increases to Sri Lanka. Pakistan also conducted border trade with Sri Lanka, India, Nepal, and the Maldives.
