ISLAMABAD (PEN) : In March 2024, Pakistan witnessed a surge in foreign direct investment (FDI), totaling $311.2 million from various countries, with China contributing $153.9 million, representing nearly half of the total FDI. Hong Kong, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Singapore also made significant investments. Overall, in the first nine months of FY-2023-24, Pakistan received $1.264 billion in FDI, with $261.9 million coming from China.
