TASHKENT: President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of Russia Vladimir Putin exchanged congratulatory messages on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in his message noted that in recent years, by joint efforts, the parties have brought interaction between Uzbekistan and Russia to an unprecedented high level of strategic partnership and alliance and further strengthened friendship between the peoples of the two countries.
Cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia is actively developing based on the principles of openness, mutual trust and support, and respect for each other’s interests.
Unique mechanisms have been established that have proven their effectiveness, allowing for a close and ongoing dialogue in all key areas of the practical interaction.
The trade turnover reached record levels. Large-scale industrial cooperation projects are being implemented. Humanitarian collaboration is developing. Ties are strengthening in healthcare, science, culture, art and education.
“We intend to further consistently develop and strengthen friendship and multifaceted partnership between Uzbekistan and Russia in the interests of our countries and peoples”, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev said.
The President of Uzbekistan wished President Vladimir Putin good health and new success in his state activities, well-being and prosperity to the friendly people of Russia.
The President of the Russian Federation, in his congratulatory message on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two states, noted that over the past decades, Russia and Uzbekistan have accumulated significant experience in fruitful cooperation in all areas. Constructive interaction has been established within the framework of the CIS, SCO and other multilateral structures, coordination of efforts to counter threats and challenges to regional security.
“I am convinced that we will continue to strengthen the strategic partnership and alliance between Russia and Uzbekistan in every possible way. This, of course, meets the interests of our friendly peoples, goes in line with ensuring peace and stability in Central Asia”, Vladimir Putin said.
The President of the Russian Federation sincerely wished President Shavkat Mirziyoyev good health and success, well-being and prosperity to Uzbekistan citizens.
