ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa in Rawalpindi. The meeting focused on issues of mutual interest, regional security, and ways to strengthen bilateral defence cooperation. According to China’s Foreign Minister, the Pakistan-China partnership is based on shared values and mutual respect. Wang Yi praised the Pakistan Army’s professionalism and stated that the world should recognise Pakistan’s efforts to promote regional peace and stability. He expressed gratitude for the security provided to CPEC and stated that China believes in shared development.
