ISLAMABAD (PEN) : The Consulate General of Pakistan in Shanghai, in partnership with the Pakistan Trade Development Authority, organized a webinar on the export of dried fruits and nuts from Pakistan to China to tap into the vast potential of Pakistan’s dried fruit export. Hussain Haider, Pakistan’s Consul General in Shanghai, said that exports of nuts and dried fruits from Pakistan to China reached $65 million in 2021, up from $8 million in 2020, indicating that Pakistan’s dried fruit exports to China have a lot of potentials. He further mentioned that under the second phase of the China-Pakistan Free Trade Agreement, Pakistan can export dried fruits to China without paying any taxes, which is a huge win for Pakistan.
