According to international media, the country’s Ministry of Interior said that the number of people who died in the floods in Kenya has reached 228. Earlier there were 179 deaths. Flooding also affected the Masai Mara Safari Park in western Kenya, where groups of tourists in hotels were swept away by the overflowing Telek River.
