ISLAMABAD (PEN) : A citizen Ali khan has filed the petition in the Supreme Court seeking to declare Feb 8 polls result null and void has been fixed for hearing.
A three-member bench headed by justice Qazi Faez Isa will heard the case on Feb 19. Justice Muhammad Ali Mazahar, and Justice Mussarat Hilali are also member of the bench.
The petition had made Election Commission of Pakistan and Federal Government respondent.
It is requested in the petition to revoke Feb 8 polls result and also halt the new government making process on the basis of polls results.
The petition also prayed to conduct fresh polls under the observation of judiciary within 30 days, also investigate and take strict actions against elements involved in rigging and forgery in Feb 8 polls.
