ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Pakistan and China have agreed to boost collaboration to foster innovative financial instruments. Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb met with You Hang, Chief Representative of China Financial Futures Exchange (CFFEX) in Pakistan, and the Director of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), aiming to enhance cooperation and explore new opportunities for strengthening Pakistan’s financial markets and investment landscape. Discussions included potential collaborations between CFFEX and PSX, emphasizing the government’s commitment to regulatory reforms and strategic partnerships with international financial institutions. Chief Representative Hang expressed CFFEX’s interest in launching new financial products and supporting Pakistan’s financial market development, with the PSX director inviting Minister Aurangzeb to engage in upcoming financial sector events and visit key financial institutions for a deeper understanding of Pakistan’s financial market dynamics and regulatory environment.
