The Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) apex committee meeting will be held today (Saturday).
According to details, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will chair the meeting, which will be attended by the civil and military leadership, federal ministers, and other officials. The SIFC will give approval to the decisions of the executive committee.
It is expected to approve the projects in line with the special investment and take key decisions.
Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi will brief on the operations against smuggling.
Discussing the matter of $10 billion in investment by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is also part of the agenda.
The meeting will also be briefed about the internal security situation.
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister House had accepted the request of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi and invited Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur.
CM Gandapur had accepted to attend the key huddle.
Expressing his gratitude, Gandapur affirmed his attendance at the meeting, emphasising the importance of KP’s participation in endorsing projects crucial for the region’s prosperity. “I will definitely attend the meeting,” he assured during a special conversation.
