ISLAMABAD (PEN) : It’s fortunate that there were no casualties reported after the fire at the Government Girls’ High Secondary School in Sirikot village. It must have been a terrifying experience for the students and faculty involved. It’s good to hear that fire and rescue officials were able to contain the fire and prevent any injuries. However, the damage to the building, furniture, and records is undoubtedly a significant loss for the school and the community. The suspected cause of a short circuit highlights the importance of regular maintenance and safety measures in public buildings, especially schools. It’s also concerning to hear about multiple fire incidents in the Haripur area in recent years, indicating a need for increased fire safety awareness and prevention efforts in the region.
