ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Chinese companies operating in Pakistan, including leading engineering and power firms CMEC and POWERCHINA, are optimistic that the Prime Minister’s visit to China will unlock further opportunities for the second phase of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. These companies are keen to increase investment and initiate new projects in various sectors. Dai Bao, Vice General Manager of China Machinery Engineering Corporation, expressed confidence in the mutual benefits for both countries from this partnership, emphasizing the strong support from both governments. Additionally, the Power Construction Corporation of China aims to collaborate with international partners to harness Pakistan’s abundant natural resources, including water, wind, solar, and minerals.
