ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Sindh’s senior minister Sharjeel Inam Memon met separately with the consuls general of China and Qatar to discuss bilateral relations and investment opportunities. With Chinese CG Yan Yundong, Memon talked about the strong Pakistan-China friendship, the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), ongoing joint projects, and transport initiatives like the Karachi Circular Railway. Memon highlighted Sindh’s potential for economic growth and invited Chinese investments, assuring full cooperation and protection of their interests. The Chinese CG emphasized Sindh’s crucial role in CPEC and praised the mass transit projects. In the meeting with Qatari CG Nayef Shahein, discussions included bilateral relations, mutual interests, and investment opportunities in Sindh, particularly in the transport sector. Memon invited Qatari investments and suggested building business ties similar to those with China. Both meetings concluded with the exchange of traditional gifts and souvenirs.
