ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Minister for Board of Investment Abdul Aleem Khan and Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan led a high-level meeting in Islamabad to evaluate progress on investment agreements from China. The meeting reviewed the status of 30 MoUs signed between 107 Pakistani and 250 Chinese business groups during Khan’s recent visit to China. Khan emphasized the importance of launching joint ventures promptly and recommended the Chinese embassy in Pakistan facilitate business meetings between the two nations. Reports on advancements in various sectors, including petroleum, health, industry, information, power, and IT, were presented, with Pakistani trade officials from Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Guangzhou providing updates via video link.
