ISLAMABAD (PEN) : The Communist Party of China (CPC) saw the number of its members grow to 99.185 million at the end of 2023, according to a report released by the CPC on Sunday.
The number of CPC members increased 1.144 million from 2022, an increase of 1.2 percent, according to figures released by the statistical communique ahead of the 103rd founding anniversary of the CPC, the world’s largest Marxist governing party, on July 1.
The CPC had 5.176 million primary-level organizations at the end of 2023, up by 111,000 from the previous year, an increase of 2.2 percent.
