ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Pakistan Navy demonstrated its capability with a successful firing of surface-to-air FN-6 missiles from its ground-based air defense system, as reported by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR). Vice Admiral Raja Rabnawaz, Commander Coast, attended the event as the chief guest.
During the live weapon firing exercise, Pakistan Navy’s ground-based air defense system effectively engaged and hit aerial targets, showcasing its operational readiness. Vice Admiral Raja Rabnawaz expressed complete satisfaction with the system’s performance and emphasized that Pakistan Navy stands fully prepared to respond to any potential threats.
In addition to protecting Pakistan’s maritime borders, Pakistan Navy plays a crucial role in regional security efforts. Recently, it deployed its warship PNS ASLAT in the Indian Ocean to ensure the safety of merchant vessels, underscoring its commitment to regional stability and security.
