She described her grandfather in a personal light, sharing a side of him that isn’t often seen. “To me, he’s just a normal grandpa,” Kai said, revealing fond memories of him sneaking candy and soda to her when her parents weren’t watching. She emphasized his care and interest in her well-being, even amid challenging times.
“Even when he’s going through all these court cases, he always asks me how I’m doing,” Kai continued. “He always encourages me to push myself to be the most successful person I can be. Obviously, he sets the bar pretty high, but who knows, maybe one day I’ll catch him.”
Reflecting on the adversity her grandfather has faced, Kai acknowledged the resilience he has shown. “A lot of people have put my grandpa through hell… and he’s still standing,” she remarked, highlighting his determination.
