ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Haris Rauf, the fast bowler for the Pakistan cricket team, has addressed and refuted recent rumors about the birth of his first child. The rumors, which began circulating on social media platform X, falsely claimed that Rauf and his wife, Muzna Masood Malik, had welcomed a baby.
Several social media accounts even shared an image of a newborn, misleading many to believe it was their child. This widespread misinformation prompted Rauf to speak out.
In a post on his Instagram story, Rauf clarified, “The news about the birth of my child is false. Please refrain from spreading or believing such baseless rumors.”
He urged people to be cautious about believing any personal information that appears on unofficial social media accounts, emphasizing that such posts are simply rumors.
Haris Rauf and Muzna Masood Malik, who tied the knot in December 2022, celebrated their wedding with a reception in July 2023.
