ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi highlighted a new dimension in Sino-Pak relations due to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) during a meeting with China’s Consul General Zhao Shiren in Lahore. He expressed pride in the strong ties between the two countries, noting China’s consistent support for Pakistan and their shared views on global issues. Naqvi assured that the Pakistani government had implemented extensive measures to ensure the safety of Chinese nationals in the country and appreciated the cooperation of Chinese citizens in these security efforts. The discussion also covered mutual interests, Pak-China relations, CPEC projects, and the security of Chinese citizens in Pakistan.
