ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Huawei, a global ICT leader, has launched an initiative to train 300,000 young Pakistanis in advanced ICT skills, aiming to enhance technical education across the country. This collaboration is part of the Prime Minister’s Youth Skill Development Programme, with the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) as the implementation partner. The initiative follows Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s visit to Huawei’s China headquarters, where he encouraged the company to invest in Pakistan’s taxation, e-governance, and Safe City projects. Huawei’s Chairman Liang Hua welcomed this partnership, discussing potential investments in various sectors including digital banking and AI.
