ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Federal Minister for Investment Board Communications and Privatisation, Abdul Aleem Khan, met with China’s Transport Minister, Li Xiaopeng, during the Beijing International Transport Conference to advance key China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects. The discussions centered on expediting the Karakoram Highway, ML-1, M-6, and M-9, emphasizing the role of public-private partnerships in financing. Minister Khan expressed optimism about the ongoing talks, highlighting the significance of infrastructure development in enhancing regional connectivity. Both sides agreed to mutual cooperation for the next phase of the Karakoram Highway, further strengthening China-Pakistan ties.
