ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah expressed his commitment to strengthening ties with China in transportation, energy, and agriculture sectors during a meeting with Chinese Consul General Yang Yundong, shortly after the tragic killing of two Chinese engineers in Karachi. Shah highlighted China’s critical role in local projects, especially in electricity and coal, while addressing security concerns for Chinese nationals involved in the CPEC. Amid Pakistan’s economic challenges, both sides aim to boost trade and investment, with China planning a $13 billion investment in a free trade zone over the next five years.
