ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Hunan University of Medicine (HNUM) in China has honored Pakistani scientist Professor Dr. Muhammad Iqbal Choudhary by naming a newly inaugurated research building after him, recognizing his contributions to medical science and Pakistan-China scientific collaboration. As the first Pakistani scientist to receive such an honor at HNUM, Professor Choudhary has established Sino-Pak research centers and earned numerous awards, including China’s Friendship Award and Pakistan’s Hilal-i-Imtiaz. The 13,000-square-foot facility will host 17 researchers, advancing joint scientific projects between both nations. HNUM, founded in 1912, is one of China’s top medical universities.
