ISLAMABAD (PEN) : The 6th International Symposium on the Belt and Road Bio-health Agriculture and the China-SCO National Bio-Health Agriculture Overseas Science and Technology Demonstration Park Forum was held at Northwest A&F University (NWAFU), China. Co-chaired by Professor Mushtaq Ahmad of Quaid-i-Azam University and Professor Zhang Lixin of NWAFU, the event gathered over 200 participants from across the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) countries, including Pakistan, Uzbekistan, and Turkey. Discussions focused on promoting food safety through agricultural biodiversity, smart agriculture, and scientific collaboration. Key speakers highlighted the importance of biodiversity, green agriculture, and Sino-Pak cooperation in talent development and joint research. Experts also delivered 20 reports on bio-healthy agricultural advancements, underlining the role of agriculture in strengthening BRI partnerships.
