ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Special Central Judge Shahrukh Arjumand issued the release order for Imran Khan, the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), in the Toshakhana II case.
The court’s ruling noted that Imran Khan’s bail had already been granted by the Islamabad High Court. As he is not wanted in any other cases, the judge ordered his release. The required surety bonds of Rs 1 million each were provided by Tariq Noon and Raja Ghulam Sajjad to secure his release.
This decision brings a sense of relief to the former prime minister, who has faced numerous legal challenges in recent months. The court’s acknowledgment of his bail marks a step toward his freedom, pending no other legal complications.
