ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif hailed the Pakistan-China all-weather strategic partnership as a cornerstone of regional stability and a symbol of global peace and prosperity. Speaking at an event at the PM House unveiling sculptures of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Chinese leader Mao Zedong, attended by Mao’s niece, Mao Xiaoqing, Shehbaz emphasized the historic bonds of mutual respect and cooperation between the two nations. He praised the sculptures by renowned Chinese artist Yuan Xikum, recognizing them as a tribute to the shared vision of independence and justice upheld by the two leaders. Highlighting educational collaboration, Shehbaz noted the growing exchanges between Pakistani and Chinese universities, including an upcoming visit of Pakistani agricultural students to China to learn advanced techniques.
