ISLAMABAD(PEN): Singer, songwriter, and TV host Fakhr-e-Alam took to social media on Wednesday night to share his distress over a robbery attempt at his home in Karachi. Expressing his concern, he wrote about the unsettling experience, hoping that the police would catch those responsible.
“My home in Karachi has been robbed,” he shared, “Police are on the scene, and an investigation is underway. It’s unsettling and deeply upsetting. I’m hoping that the culprits are apprehended soon.”
Alam emphasized that while material things can be replaced, the sense of security and peace of mind is priceless. “Things don’t matter to me, but peace of mind is priceless. That is the real loss here. For everyone else, please remain vigilant,” he added.
In a statement, DIG South Assad Raza confirmed that an attempt had been made to break into Fakhr-e-Alam’s house while he was out of the country. Fortunately, it appears nothing was stolen. The police also reported that the security guard at the bungalow was poisoned during the incident, but the house’s locker remained secure.
This unsettling experience has left Fakhr-e-Alam shaken, but he remains hopeful that justice will prevail and encourages others to stay alert.
