ISLAMABAD (PEN) : At a ceremony at the Chinese Consulate in Karachi, Governor of Balochistan Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail praised the enduring Pakistan-China friendship, describing it as “as strong as the Himalayas.” The event marked the handover of 38 solar power systems donated by the Chinese Consulate to Balochistan, benefiting schools, hospitals, mosques, and communities in remote areas. Mandokhail highlighted China’s genuine support for Balochistan’s development beyond diplomacy, while Chinese Consul General Yang Yundong emphasized the project as a symbol of the all-weather strategic partnership under CPEC. The initiative aims to improve energy access, living standards, and socio-economic development across the province.
