ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Shab-e-Barat is being observed with deep reverence across the country and the Islamic world on Thursday night.
Known as the night of forgiveness and divine mercy, Shab-e-Barat is a time when Muslims turn to Allah Almighty, seeking His forgiveness. Many gather in mosques for prayers, while others come together in their homes for collective supplication.
The following day, many choose to fast as a sign of humility and gratitude for the countless blessings they’ve received. This night, falling between the 14th and 15th of Sha’ban, is cherished by Muslims as a time to reflect on their actions, seek mercy, and experience the peace of divine forgiveness.
