The match, which took place in a packed arena, pitted male competitors Costica Prisecaru and Sebastian Rechinu against social media personalities Alicia Bonita, Denisa Costea, and Maria Adriana. The women wore protective headgear, while the men fought without any such equipment, a factor that has raised concerns about the fairness and safety of the contest.
