ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Federal Minister for Information, Broadcasting, National Heritage and Culture, Attaullah Tarar, highlighted the longstanding brotherly ties between Pakistan and Bahrain, grounded in shared faith, history, and culture.
In a meeting with Bahraini Minister for Information, Ramzan bin Abdullah Al Noaimi, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Tarar emphasized the importance of media delegation exchanges to strengthen the already robust relationship between the two countries. Both ministers expressed their commitment to expanding media cooperation, exchanging skills, and promoting joint initiatives between their nations.
Tarar stressed the value of enhancing collaboration between state media institutions, suggesting the sharing of news between Bahrain News Agency (BNA) and Pakistan’s state news agency, the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP). The two leaders also underscored the importance of the ongoing exchange of high-level delegations between their countries.
In his remarks, Tarar shared that a Bahraini parliamentary delegation was visiting Pakistan, and had recently held an important discussion with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. Reflecting on Pakistan’s economic trajectory, Tarar noted that the country was on the right path and offered vast investment opportunities for global investors.
Bahraini Minister Al Noaimi, in turn, expressed Bahrain’s deep respect for its relationship with Pakistan. “Bahrain-Pakistan relations continue to evolve across various sectors, thanks to the wise leadership of both nations,” he remarked.
