For those traveling from Defence and Cantt areas, parking will be available at Liberty Park after taking routes from Hussain Chowk or Sherpao Bridge via Main Boulevard Gulberg. Authorities have reassured the public that there will be no permanent road closures. Major roads, including Mall Road, Jail Road, Canal Road, Ferozepur Road, and Main Boulevard Gulberg, will remain open and operational.
In an effort to streamline traffic, authorities urge fans to park only in designated spaces and avoid unauthorized parking. The public will receive real-time traffic updates through the Rasta App and Rasta FM 88.6.
On the security front, Punjab Police has put forward an elaborate security plan to ensure the safety of players, officials, and attendees. Punjab’s Inspector General (IG), Dr. Usman Anwar, has directed that extensive measures be taken to protect everyone involved. Over 12,000 police officers and officials will be stationed at key locations, with specialized units, such as the Dolphin Squad, Police Response Unit, and Elite teams, patrolling vital areas.
For added protection, snipers will be strategically deployed around the stadium, and Safe City cameras will monitor routes and critical areas during the event. Authorities are committed to ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all those attending the game.
