ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Former actress Zarnish Khan, who has made a significant change in her life by leaving the entertainment industry and adopting pardah, has taken to social media to make a heartfelt request to media outlets and social pages. She has asked that her old pictures from her time in showbiz not be used anymore, in order to respect her current lifestyle.
A Personal Request on Instagram
On Tuesday, a day after her public dispute with fellow actress Alizeh Shah over past comments, Zarnish Khan shared a message on her Instagram, requesting social media platforms to refrain from using images of her from her earlier career. In her post, Khan emphasized that she now observes pardah and prefers to keep her past private.
She wrote in a screengrab shared with her followers, “Meri saray social media platforms say request hai pls meri picture mat use karain purani (I request all social media platforms not to use my old pictures) out of respect, please.”
Khan further clarified, “I can only request. I do parda now and it’s just… so please. Baki jisko jo likhna hai likhain (But everyone can write whatever they want). Just no pictures or videos!”
A Call for Understanding and Privacy
In her message, the ‘Sun Yaara’ actress also wished her followers well, ending the post with, “Have a blessed month all.” Khan’s decision to step away from her previous career and her request for privacy reflect her desire to live a more private life following her spiritual journey.
