ISLAMABAD (PEN) : A special ceremony to commemorate Pakistan Day will be held at Aiwan-e-Sadr on March 23, marking the 75th anniversary of the country’s independence. The event will be attended by high-profile dignitaries, including President Asif Ali Zardari, who will serve as the chief guest.
Flag Hoisting and Military Salute
During the ceremony, President Zardari will officially raise the national flag, followed by a salute presented by a Pakistan Army contingent. The event will also feature a flypast by the Pakistan Air Force, adding to the significance of the day.
Distinguished Guests in Attendance
In addition to the President, Prime Minister and senior military leaders, including the heads of the armed forces, will participate in the ceremony. Foreign diplomats, along with other distinguished guests, are expected to attend the celebration, reflecting the importance of the event both nationally and internationally.
