Shah highlighted the significance of recent discussions between President Asif Ali Zardari and Chinese leadership, which he believes have opened new avenues for cooperation.
The Chief Minister noted that Karachi would soon see the initiation of several water projects and an expansion of solar energy initiatives, both in partnership with China. He also mentioned the growing interest of Chinese investors in modern agricultural technology and research, which could bring significant benefits to Sindh’s agricultural sector.

Strengthening Ties with Iraq
In a separate meeting with Iraqi Consul General Dr. Mehr Mujahid Jejan, CM Shah expressed his pleasure at the reopening of the Iraqi Consulate in Karachi after a hiatus of two decades. This development marks a significant step toward strengthening cultural and diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Iraq.

CM Shah assured full support from the Sindh provincial government to facilitate the operations of the Iraqi consulate and enhance people-to-people exchanges between the two nations.
