ISLAMABAD (PEN) : In a significant move to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr, the Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) has declared a special bonus for its employees. The bonus, equivalent to one basic salary, will be given to those who meet the required service criteria.
Eligibility for the Bonus
WAPDA employees who have completed more than six months of service are eligible to receive the Eid bonus. This includes a broad spectrum of workers, such as:
– Confirmed Staff
– Contractual Employees
– Daily Wage Workers
– Employees on Deputation
In addition, consultants and advisors at WAPDA will receive 60% of their monthly package as part of the Eid reward.
Employees Not Eligible for the Bonus
Certain employees will not be entitled to the bonus, including:
– Those on earned leave, leave preparatory to retirement (LPR), or extraordinary leave.
– Employees who have been convicted of any offense or found guilty of misconduct.
The decision to offer the bonus is seen as a gesture of goodwill and an effort to acknowledge the dedication and hard work of the staff.
