ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Eight players from Pakistan’s T20 squad have joined the ODI team in Napier, New Zealand, ahead of the upcoming one-day international series. This move comes as Pakistan prepares for its first ODI against New Zealand, scheduled for March 29.
Players Who Have Joined the ODI Squad
The latest additions to the Pakistan ODI squad include four prominent players: Agha Salman, Haris Rauf, Khushdil Shah, and Irfan Khan Niazi. Alongside them, Abrar Ahmed, Sufiyan Muqeem, Mohammad Ali, and Usman Khan have also joined the team in Napier.
These players have now integrated with the existing ODI squad as the team readies itself for the crucial series against New Zealand. Their inclusion strengthens the team ahead of what is expected to be a competitive series.
T20 Squad Departing for Pakistan
While eight players have joined the ODI squad, the remaining members of the T20 squad are set to return to Pakistan. The players scheduled to depart today will head back home after their T20 series commitments, having now completed their roles in the shorter format.
