ISLAMABAD (PEN) : At least four Levies personnel were martyred in a terrorist attack targeting a security check post in the Naal area of Khuzdar during the early hours of Saturday, according to official reports.
The assailants, armed with automatic weapons, opened fire on the check post, resulting in the martyrdom of four personnel identified as Maqbool, Khuda Baksh, Ijaz, and Muhammad Ali. Emergency responders and fellow security personnel rushed to the scene and transported the bodies to a nearby hospital.
Following the incident, law enforcement agencies swiftly cordoned off the area and launched a search operation across Khuzdar and adjacent regions to locate the perpetrators behind the attack.
Authorities have yet to release further details regarding the identity or affiliation of the attackers. Investigations are ongoing.
