Qalandars Cruise in Chase of 191
Chasing a target of 191, Lahore reached 192/4 in just 18.4 overs, knocking Karachi out of the tournament. Star batter Abdullah Shafique led the assault with a rapid 65 off 35 balls, hitting five sixes and three fours to keep Qalandars in control.

Warner’s Effort in Vain
Earlier, Karachi Kings, after winning the toss and choosing to bat, posted a total of 190/8 in their 20 overs. Skipper David Warner top-scored with a fluent 75 off 52 balls, smashing eight fours and three sixes. However, the rest of the batting lineup struggled to build momentum.
Contributions came from Khushdil Shah (27\*), Irfan Khan (18), Tim Seifert and Mohammad Nabi (16 each), while Saad Baig added 11. James Vince (4) and Abbas Afridi (2) failed to make an impact.
Despite Warner’s effort and a competitive total, Karachi’s bowlers couldn’t contain Lahore’s batting firepower.
