ISLAMABAD (PEN) : A devastating road accident on Saturday morning claimed the lives of a man and his three young children after a speeding trailer crushed their motorcycle in the Okara district of Punjab.
The fatal incident occurred on Multan Road near a private college, as the father, identified as Muhammad Nadeem, was en route to drop his children off at school. The children were identified as 10-year-old Aryan, 8-year-old Ayan, and 6-year-old Ayeza.
Eyewitnesses Cite Driver Negligence
According to eyewitness accounts, the trailer was traveling at high speed and its driver lost control, resulting in the deadly crash. Observers at the scene pointed to reckless driving and negligence as the primary cause of the accident.
“The driver was speeding and didn’t seem to slow down at any point,” said one witness. “He lost control and ran straight over the motorcycle.”
Driver Flees Scene, Police Investigate
Following the collision, the trailer driver fled the scene. Law enforcement quickly arrived and secured the vehicle involved. Rescue teams also responded promptly, transporting the bodies to a nearby hospital for further procedures.
