ISLAMABAD (PEN) : The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has officially launched its nationwide academic initiative titled ‘Hilal Talks 2025’, aimed at equipping educators with insights into modern information warfare and fostering national unity through intellectual discourse.
The programme, overseen by the ISPR, brings together 1,950 teachers from across Pakistan in a series of interactive sessions focused on national security, fifth-generation warfare, and the strategic role of social media.
Countering Disinformation and Strengthening National Awareness
Speaking at the event, Director General ISPR Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry addressed a wide range of topics, including disinformation campaigns targeting Pakistan. He provided detailed responses to educators’ queries, particularly regarding security challenges in regions like Balochistan.
Participants noted that the sessions shed light on the workings of the Pakistan Army and its engagement with civil society, particularly in countering digital propaganda. Educators appreciated the open dialogue and acknowledged the clarity it brought to various complex issues.
