ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif performed Umrah on Friday as part of his ongoing official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, accompanied by members of the Pakistani delegation.
Prayers Offered at the Holy Kaaba
The prime minister offered special prayers for Pakistan’s development, regional stability, and the unity of the Muslim Ummah. He also prayed for peace and justice for the people of Gaza, highlighting Pakistan’s continued solidarity with the Palestinian cause.
High-Level Bilateral Engagements Scheduled
PM Shehbaz is leading a high-level government delegation during his stay in the Kingdom. As part of his visit, he is expected to meet Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The meeting will cover topics of mutual interest, including economic cooperation, investment opportunities, and regional affairs.
The visit reflects Pakistan’s ongoing commitment to strengthening strategic and diplomatic ties with Saudi Arabia, particularly under the framework of shared Islamic values and regional collaboration.
