ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Iran’s armed forces have issued a stern warning to Israeli settlers in the occupied Palestinian territories, urging them to leave immediately as Tehran signals plans for a broad retaliatory response to recent Israeli military actions.
Iranian Military Warns of Impending Strikes
In a televised address on Sunday, Colonel Reza Sayyad, spokesperson for Iran’s Armed Forces Communications Center, cautioned civilians residing in Israeli-occupied areas that remaining there could endanger their lives.
“Leave the occupied territories. Leaving this occupied land is the only way to preserve your lives,” said Sayyad, referring to Israel as the “Zionist regime” and accusing its military of criminal aggression.
He stated that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s administration was “desperate, corrupt, and criminal,” and claimed that its recent military offensives against Iran were “doomed to fail.”
Iranian Intelligence Prepared for Retaliation
Colonel Sayyad also disclosed that Iran’s armed forces have compiled a “comprehensive intelligence bank” containing detailed data on critical and sensitive sites across Israeli-controlled regions. He warned that these areas could become primary targets in upcoming military actions.
“Our response will not be limited to specific zones — it will span the entirety of the occupied territories,” Sayyad stated, warning settlers to stay clear of potential targets. “Even underground shelters will not ensure safety,” he added, signaling the scale and seriousness of Iran’s potential strikes.
Escalation in Hostilities
The statement marks a significant escalation in rhetoric and military posturing between Iran and Israel, following a series of mutual cross-border strikes in recent days. Tehran has characterized Israel’s recent actions as unprovoked aggression, while Tel Aviv maintains that its operations are aimed at neutralizing security threats.
As the regional conflict intensifies, international observers have expressed growing concern about the potential for broader destabilization in the Middle East. Iran’s warning to settlers may indicate further retaliatory action is imminent, raising the stakes for both civilians and regional powers.
Humanitarian and Diplomatic Concerns Mount
Amid mounting tension, humanitarian agencies and foreign governments have called for restraint on all sides to prevent further civilian casualties and displacement. However, the latest warnings suggest that de-escalation efforts face significant challenges.
Iranian authorities have reaffirmed their intent to defend national sovereignty and respond proportionately to what they describe as Israeli aggression, while continuing to frame their military posture as defensive rather than expansionist.
