ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Hosts Bahrain clinched the AVC Men’s Volleyball Nations Cup 2025 title after overcoming Pakistan 3–1 in an intense final showdown held in Manama on Monday. Despite the loss, Pakistan earned a silver medal, marking a strong overall performance in the continental event.
Bahrain Clinch Title with Strong Finish
Backed by home support, Bahrain sealed the victory with set scores of *25–18, 25–17, 16–25, and 25–23*, demonstrating their dominance in three out of the four sets played.
Pakistan showed resilience in the third set, mounting a spirited comeback to take it *25–16, but were unable to sustain momentum in the decisive fourth set, narrowly losing 25–23.
Pakistan’s Road to the Final
Pakistan advanced to the final after a commanding *3–1 victory over Qatar* in the semi-final on Saturday, also held in Bahrain. The Green Shirts displayed impressive teamwork and tactical discipline throughout the tournament to secure a spot in the final match.
