ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Pakistan’s National Security Adviser, Lieutenant General Muhammad Asim Malik, is currently on an official visit to China, where he participated in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) meeting of Security Council Secretaries.
At the session, Lt. Gen. Malik reiterated Pakistan’s firm commitment to fostering global peace, stability, and security amid the evolving international landscape. He stressed Pakistan’s ongoing role in promoting regional peace and security.
High-Level Engagements with Chinese Leadership
During his visit, Lt. Gen. Malik held important discussions with senior Chinese officials, culminating in an agreement to deepen security collaboration and further enhance bilateral ties between the two countries.
Emphasizing Pakistan’s vision for peaceful coexistence, he reaffirmed the country’s dedication to promoting harmony with neighboring states.
“Pakistan remains committed to playing a constructive role in the region’s peace and stability,” Lt. Gen. Malik stated.
