ISLAMABAD (PEN) : Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Asim Munir highlighted the critical importance of inter-institutional cohesion, mutual respect, and a unified national vision to drive Pakistan’s strategic and developmental progress.
Addressing probationary officers of the 52nd Common Training Program (CTP) at the Civil Services Academy, the COAS underscored that collaboration between civil and military institutions is essential for the country’s stability and advancement. The session took place at the Army Auditorium, according to a statement issued by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The probationary officers had been attached to various Pakistan Army formations stationed in peacetime locations and operational zones across Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan. This exposure provided them with extensive experience and insight into the operations of all three armed services through diverse interactions and visits.
This engagement forms part of a wider national initiative focused on fostering stronger institutional synergy and enhancing understanding between Pakistan’s civil bureaucracy and military leadership.
During his address, Field Marshal Munir touched upon key issues including national security challenges—both internal and external—and highlighted the pivotal role of the Pakistan Armed Forces in maintaining regional peace and national stability.
He further stressed the necessity of a competent, transparent, and service-oriented civil administration within the framework of state governance. Urging the young officers to uphold the highest standards, the COAS said, “I urge you to embody the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and patriotic commitment in the fulfillment of your responsibilities to the nation.”
