ISLAMABAD (PEN) : At the invitation of Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev, Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will conduct a state visit to Azerbaijan from July 2 to 4.
During the visit, the second meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council and other high-level events are scheduled to take place in Baku on July 2 and 3. The discussions will focus on enhancing the friendship, strategic partnership, and alliance between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, alongside expanding cooperation and exchanges in key priority sectors.
On July 4, President Mirziyoyev will attend the 17th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization in Khankendi, where he is also expected to hold several bilateral meetings with regional leaders.
This visit underscores the ongoing commitment of both nations to strengthen their diplomatic and economic ties within the region.
