The ruling alliance now holds 232 out of 333 occupied seats, surpassing the **224-seat threshold* needed for a two-thirds majority. This development gives the government the authority to pass constitutional amendments without needing opposition support.
PML-N Emerges as Dominant Force
With *123 seats, the **Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N)* has become the *largest party* in the National Assembly. The *Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP)* follows with *74 seats, and **Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM)* holds *22*.
