ISLAMABAD (PEN) : The rescue mission to find Abdullah, who went missing in the Swat River, has continued into its seventh day, officials confirmed on July 3, 2025.
Rescue Teams Intensify Efforts Amid Challenging Conditions
Rescue 1122 teams are actively engaged in combing the river’s deep waters and contending with strong currents. The operation spans several locations along the river, from Faza Gat to Landa K.
A spokesperson for Rescue 1122 reported that over 30 personnel, including skilled professional divers, are involved in the ongoing search efforts. So far, the teams have recovered 12 bodies, but Abdullah, who hails from Daska, remains missing.
The operation remains ongoing as authorities persist in their efforts to locate the missing individual.
