New Enforcement Measures Target Illegal Residents and Security Threats
According to the department, individuals involved in terrorism, inciting violence, or engaging in such activities will be barred from staying in the country. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio stressed, “Anyone residing in the country illegally is considered a criminal.”
Rubio further warned that lawbreakers will face immediate cancellation of their visas and green cards. The policy also restricts granting visas to students intending to participate in protests or cause unrest.
