ISLAMABAD (PEN) : The 81st CPEC Review Meeting, chaired by Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal in Islamabad, evaluated progress across key sectors including infrastructure, energy, SEZs, and agriculture. The forum emphasized preparation for the upcoming 14th JCC meeting, with particular focus on the Karakoram Highway, energy supply to SEZs, Gwadar’s desalination plant, and potential CPEC extension to Afghanistan. Ministries were urged to finalize reports and proposals, enhance coordination, and ensure timely project execution, while reaffirming the government’s commitment to industrial growth and regional connectivity.
